So we’ve been very busy here at Roo Pictures Photography and as a result haven’t updated our Blog, but believe me thats not because of a lack of substance!!! We’ve got Weddings, Portraits, Photobooths and a NEW Web-site coming!!! wow mega exciting so stick around and things are going to get happening real soon!
Greetings to you….
Welcome to my blog, simple really a blog about my passion for photography, I hope you enjoy and feel free to pop in anytime. I’m currently editing weddings so new photos to appear soon.
PHOTOBOOTH
A new and exciting addition for Roo Pictures, a great way to capture guests at your wedding. We set up a small booth type structure at Reception with props and away you go…5 photos are taken with a gap of around 2 seconds in between each shot so you can move around, make funny faces, whatever you wish… Ask for details when booking your wedding or school formal, 21st, in fact whatever event you want.
JESS & HARRY
June 20 – 2010
(Kellyville, Bella Visa Farm & Castle Hill – Australia)
An amazing day it really has to be said, from a photographers point of view a dream come true, Lovely people, amazing locations and the best lighting I’ve ever known.
Saying all that! it wasn’t without its bumps, for example, the gates to “Bella Vista Farm” being locked!!! and with only a small window of time to photograph a decent number of the bridal party..things had to happen
fast and brains had to work over time, so we began to find new areas to shoot when suddenly the cry of “we’re in” came from father of the bride Wayne Marsden and the fun started. Nice work Wayne because Bella Vista Farm
was breath-taking (in so many different ways).. and I hope you agree the pictures go along with my story.
Thanks guys for allowing me to capture your beautiful day, it really was a pleasure.
CARLY & KEN
June 24 – 2010
(RIVERVALE BARN, YATELY – ENGLAND)
Carly and Ken and of course their beautiful daughter Lily, really are a wonderful family and together with a delightful venue “Rivervale Barn” made my job (hard to think of it as a job due to how much I love doing it)
so easy. With everything happening in the one place you could think that it would be a long day and photos would all look-alike, none of it!!! the chapel style barn with its massive dining area really set this wedding
apart from many I’ve seen in my time, the decorations along with Carly’s dress were stunning and once our groom had said those vows and placed that ring on his wife’s finger his nerves dropped and
fun was had by all including me.
Thank you guys for a lovely time and a very memorable day.
